DANCERS

Dancers proficient in Tap and Contemporary Jazz styles preferred.

Busch Gardens features many exciting opportunities for dancers throughout the year, ranging from jazz and musical theatre to ballet and modern. A variety of contract lengths are available throughout the year, with our season running March through December. Click here to learn more about the Entertainment Department.

HOW TO AUDITION:

1. APPLY

Click here to fill out an online performer application PRIOR to attending an audition or sending in materials. Please note that you must apply online and agree to the listed terms prior to accepting a position.

2. PREPARE

You will be taught a brief dance combination at the audition. The dance combination will be taught only once, so please be prompt. You may be asked to stay for a callback. Wear appropriate dance clothing and footwear.

Please prepare the following items for the audition:

Headshot and Resume (preferred)
If under 18, please print and have a parent/guardian sign the Audition Consent Form (Click here to print the form) or bring your parent/guardian with you to the audition. Please note that Applicants must be at least 15 years old to audition and 16 years old to begin work.
If you wish to sing, please come prepared. Singer auditions are held separately from dancer auditions and have different requirements. Please click here for more information.

3. AUDITION

Make plans to attend one of our monthly Williamsburg auditions. Arrive early to register and bring all of the items listed in the “prepare” section above. An in-person audition is preferred, but we also welcome mailed and e-mailed audition materials. Click here for audition options if you can’t attend a live audition. You should only email your resume/headshot if you are NOT attending a live audition. Hard copies are required if you are attending a live audition.
