INSTRUMENTALISTS

Now hiring Percussionists/ Drummers for 2012 season. Applicants must be available to work all Spring days. (High school or college schedules can not be accommodated.)

Busch Gardens features many exciting opportunities for instrumentalists throughout the year, including strings, woodwinds, keyboardists, guitarists, percussionists and traditional German and Irish instruments. A variety of contract lengths are available throughout the year, with our season running March through December. Click here to learn more about the Entertainment Department.

HOW TO AUDITION:

1. APPLY

Click here to fill out an online performer application PRIOR to attending an audition or sending in materials. Please note that you must apply online and agree to the listed terms prior to accepting a position. For those wishing to audition for holiday season shows send audition links and resume to: bgwauditions@seaworld.com

2. PREPARE

Please prepare two short selections totaling 90 seconds showcasing your best technique. Additionally, you will be asked to sight read. A piano and a standard drum set will be provided at the audition site, but all other instruments will need to be brought to the audition.

3. AUDITION

Please make plans to attend one of our monthly Williamsburg auditions or audition tour locations. Click here for a list of upcoming audition dates. An in-person audition is preferred, but we also welcome mailed and emailed audition materials showcasing your technique. Click here for other audition options if you can’t attend a live audition. Applicants must be at least 15 years old to audition and 16 years old to begin work.
