Theatrical Services Park Wide Technician Positions Now Available

Busch Gardens Europe is accepting resumes for all Theatrical Services Technician positions for our 2008 season. Busch Gardens is a world class theme park with a strong entertainment department and a variety of shows in over 8 separate venues. Theatrical Services technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, repair, installation and strike of theatrical equipment in one or more of the following disciplines: electrics: conventional and intelligent fixtures, dimming and controls, Hog/ETC consoles; audio: wired/wireless microphones, basic soldering, audio and signal flow, digital/analog consoles; scenic/rigging: carpentry/construction, fly rail systems/rigging, general painting; properties: hand props, animatronics, scenic painting, fabrics.

Qualified candidates will have experience in one or more of the following disciplines: electrics, audio, properties, construction, rigging, painting or effects, ability to work at heights and move heavy equipment, have a valid VA drivers license or the ability to acquire one within 30 days of employment, and a flexible working schedule with ability to work nights. Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theatre and previous multi-venue experience preferred. This is a ten month seasonal position beginning February or March 2008. Base pay rate is $12.00-$13.36 hourly, schedule is usually 40 hours/week but can fluctuate from 32-75 hours/week throughout the season.
