Technicians Wanted for 2010 World Premiere Events

Busch Gardens is seeking Technicians to complete three total park transformations. The initial crews hired will be completing an installation of our brand new parkwide spectacular, IllumiNights. The team would then begin preparing the attractions for our highly successful Howl-O-Scream event, followed up with installing - Christmas Town, A Busch Gardens Celebration.

We are seeking well rounded Technicians that are able to work in multiple theatrical disciplines. Being a part of our install team is a unique learning experience that will offer you a chance to learn new skills and further develop in your area of expertise.

Technicians will have exposure to state of the art technology, learning and working with pioneers in the event development industry. We are looking for motivated, hard working, team oriented individuals that are flexible and able to seamlessly move between projects utilizing multiple skill sets. In a day, you could expect to go from painting detailed, grotesque masks to running cable for an outdoor speaker. Another day could start with rigging multiple elements throughout the park and end with receiving instruction from a Tony award winning lighting designer. No two days will be alike!

Many positions will require overhead ladder and genie work - an ability to work at heights is needed for many of the available positions.

Scenic charge artists, set dressers, prop masters, thematic overlay specialists, lighting technicians, master electricians, carpenters and riggers are examples of the positions that you may have held that qualify you for our team.
